Crawford Park

THE CRAWFORD FAMILY dedicated itself to beautifying its estate with gardens, lawns, and woods. Although many of the mature trees still exist, at the time the property was donated to the Town of Rye in 1971 many of the original plantings and gardens were gone and other features were in disrepair.
CRAWFORD PARK covers more than 35 acres between North Ridge Street and Lincoln Avenue in Rye Brook. The site includes gardens, lawns, woods, a walking/jogging path, playing fields, an historic mansion - making it a unique resource for Port Chester, Rye Brook and surrounding communities.
FRIENDS OF CRAWFORD PARK was formed in 1997. The all- volunteer, non-profit organization, was created to preserve the Crawfords’ legacy. The Friends’ focus is on restoring and enhancing this unique and beautiful space for the enjoyment of all visitors.
