All Rye Brook and Port Chester residents are required to license their dog(s) and to renew that license every year with the Town Clerk. Licensing should be done when the dog is at least 4 to 6 months old. Owners must show proof of rabies vaccination and a spay or neuter certificate. If the dog is spayed or neutered, the fee is twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50). If the dog is not, the fee is twenty dollars and fifty cents ($20.50).  The Town will offer the option of issuing a two-year license which shall be twenty dollars ($20.00) for spayed or neutered dogs and thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for unaltered dogs. The license renewal form will be mailed annually to the owner from the Town Clerk's Office. A copy of the application for a dog license can be found on the right side of the Town Clerk webpage.
